Welcome to the Great Lakes Womens Shelter (GLWS) raffle. Please carefully read these terms and conditions as they govern the participation in our raffle. By participating, you agree to comply with these terms.
GREAT GATSBY GALA BALL RAFFLE T&C’s
Raffle Prize: A one only prize of a 13 Day Kimberley Cruise Adventure for 2 people offering a deep dive into the Kimberley’s hidden gems. Prize valued at $31,200
Includes:
All transfers on day of departure & disembarkation. Experienced crew & on-board chef. All meals, soft drinks, tea & coffee. All guided excursions from the boat. Use of fishing equipment.
Excludes
Airfares and travel costs
Accommodation pre and post cruise.
Alcoholic beverages.
The Prize cannot be converted to cash and is subject to availability.
Bookings are essential and subject to Terms and conditions of accommodation provider
Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years or older.
Tickets
Price: Tickets are priced are $20 each. Transaction fee of 1% applies on ticket sales.
Ticket Sales and Draw:
Tickets will be available on-line to purchase electronically via www.glws.org.au/events from 17 September 2025 and during the event which will be held on 22nd November, 2025
Ticket sales will conclude at approximately 10.00pm on Saturday 22nd November, 2025 at the event
Ticket purchase does not include any fees, ticket purchasers are provided an opportunity to donate towards the fees that GLWS incurs on the Supporter Hub Platform (2% of ticket price)
Winner Selection
· Winning ticket will be drawn electronically at approximately 10.30pm on Saturday 22nd November, 2025 at the event
· The winner will be automatically notified by SMS text message
· Winning number will be published on the GLWS social media site and the GLFM Radio Community Noticeboard.
· There is a maximum of 20,000 tickets being sold.
· Price of ticket: $20 for 1 ticket, $90 for 5 tickets, $250 for 15 tickets.
· Total prize pool value: $31,200
· There is one prize
· All profits will be distributed directly to Great Lakes Womens Shelter only (ABN: 18949934199).
· This raffle is for entrants from NSW
· This raffle excludes entrants from VIC, QLD, ACT, WA, NT, SA and TAS
· This raffle is run by Great Lakes Womens Shelter (GLWS) hosted on the SupporterHub platform (ABN: 26 616 473 084).
· Tickets can only be purchased online via SupporterHub’s raffle platform, which will be hosted on Great Lakes Womens Shelter website www.glws.org.au/events
1) Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
2) Purchase of a raffle ticket is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3) Entry is open to residents of NSW only. This raffle excludes entrants from QLD, VIC ACT, NT, WA, SA and TAS. Ineligible state residents are invited to donate to Great Lakes Womens Shelter www.glws.org.au
4) Anyone under the age of 18 is ineligible to purchase tickets.
5) Entrants must include their contact details in the section provided when purchasing a ticket. Complete entries will include a first and last name, email address, postcode, and/or a telephone number at a minimum. 6) Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of tickets which may be purchased.
7) Due to permit requirements this raffle is only available to NSW residents.
8) Raffle ticket sales will commence on Weds 17th September 2025 09.00am (AEST) and conclude on Saturday 22nd November at 10:00pm (AEST).
9) Raffle tickets are non-refundable.
10) GLWS reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue this raffle with or without prior notice due to reasons outside of its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated/suspected/actual fraud, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes).
11) Great Lakes Womens Shelter reserves the right to disqualify any person who Great Lakes Womens Shelter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct calculated to interfere with a fair and proper conduct of this Raffle. Great Lakes Womens Shelter legal rights are reserved to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.
12) The randomly generated draw for the winner will take place on November 22 2025 at approx 10:00pm (AEST) online through the SupporterHub online raffle platform (ABN: 26 616 473 084). SupporterHub's head office is Level 24, 66 Goulburn Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000.
13) Entrants need not be present to win.
14) There is only one raffle prize package, and there will only be one winner.
15) The winner will be notified by text and email within 2 days of the draw, and the winner’s details will be published on the Great Lakes Womens Shelter SupporterHub raffle platform page and Great Lakes Womens Shelter’s Facebook platform after the winner has been notified.
16) The Prize is not redeemable for cash or credit.
17) The prize is not transferable.
18) The prize cannot be returned, exchanged or a credit note provided.
19) If the raffle prize package remains unclaimed for 3 months, or if the winner cannot be contacted after all reasonable steps have been taken, or the winner of the prize is unable to take the prize for any reason, then the winner will forfeit the prize. The draw will be conducted via the SupporterHub raffle platform on 22nd February 2026. The winner will be notified by phone and email within 2 days of the draw, and the winner’s details will be published on the Great Lakes Womens Shelter Facebook platform.
20) The winner may be invited to take part in reasonable promotional activity related to the raffle (for example, GLWS social media)
21) Great Lakes Womens Shelter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the result.
22) All entries become property of Great Lakes Womens Shelter. Great Lakes Womens Shelter may use entrant information to contact you about news, events, and general information in relation to the organisation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Great Lakes Womens Shelter at: admin@glws.org.au.
23) GLWS accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss or liability suffered or incurred by the prize-winner in relation to the prize or the raffle. The winners release Great Lakes Womens Shelter, related employees, affiliates or bodies corporate, from all liabilities, loss, damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize or the promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of the prize.
